VERITAS CLASSICAL SCHOOLS​

ONE IN FIVE...that was our motivation to produce an affordable framework for dyslexia reading interventions. What is “ One in Five?”  It is the number of students who have a degree of dyslexia that creates reading difficulties.Veritas, a home school tutorial, met some exceptional students who were struggling readers. They were bright and full of potential, but frustrated by their reading exceptions, thereby deflating their confidence and potential.Our driving force was the twenty percent of our students who struggled. Our staff responded with a GREAT desire to minister to these students with dyslexia interventions that would work, with interventions in which parents could participate to maximize progress. Our desire was to build reading skills and give back their confidence and potential.

Dyslexia Screening

A comprehensive 10 tool test that screens for dyslexia.  Includes parent interview, student testing and results meeting.   Oral Report $175.   Written Report $375

Dyslexia Tutoring

Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham tutoring offered for enrolled students and after-school placement for private and public school students.  Tutoring schedule based on individual needs of student.  Tutoring takes place on a one-on-one basis.   Cost varies according to number of weekly sessions requested.
