The dress code is mandatory and will consist of:

 

• A solid color classic polo shirt (long or short sleeve) with the Veritas logo embroidered (not screen printed)

 

• Modest khaki or navy-colored pants or capris, knee-length shorts, or a knee-length skirt or jumper. Shirts must be tucked in, and a belt should be worn if the pants, capris, shorts, or skirt have belt loops.

 

• Students are asked to wear natural hair colors only.

 

• Jewelry should follow traditional gender norms.

 

• For modesty and consistency, skirts and jumpers should be knee-length or longer when standing, with no slits that rise above the knee.

 

• Shoe color and style is left to the parents' discretion.

  • Exception: High School sciences may require closed toe shoes for safety reasons on lab days.

 

• Jackets should be open-style, zippered, or button-up.

  • No sweat-shirt style ‘hoodies’ are admissible.

 

 

The goal of dress code is modesty and neatness in a way that supports a focused, respectful learning environment. We truly appreciate your partnership in helping every student feel comfortable and ready to learn.  Students out of dress code will be removed from the academic classroom until such a time as parents can bring dress code approved clothing. Since your time spent in class is limited, we would ask that the dress code not become an issue.
