Map of the Month (World Explorers, 13 Colonies, Aztec, Maya, In)

World Explorers Our first double-sided map! This map has a two-fold purpose: learn about explorers as well as physical world geography. Students follow the routes of many famous explorers across a world map, from the early Vikings to the modern day polar explorers. Activities include shading, labeling and drawing in of the physical features the explorers actually encountered. The reverse side of the map describes all of the routes shown on the map. Thirteen Colonies This map outlines the boundaries of the original Thirteen Colonies along the eastern seaboard. Present day state boundaries are also shown so that students can see how the states changed from colonial times. Included are both cartographic and history-related activities. The map describes the individual colonies as well as historical events of the period. Aztec, Maya, and Inca Map This is a NEW double-sided, gold-colored map, with TWO great maps and illustrations to supplement your studies of the pre-Columbian civilizations. Both sides have maps, as well as cultural and geographic information and map activities. One side has the MAYA and AZTEC civilization, and the other side the INCA.
